Autor  Sara Rovira Esteva

Associate professor at the Department of Translation and Interpreting and East Asian Studies of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She is currently the main researcher of the research group TXICC and coordinates the websites about indexed journals RETI and REAO. Her research topics include bibliometrics, Chinese-Spanish/Catalan translation, teaching Chinese as a foreign language and media accessibility. She is one of the founding members of the Spanish Association of East Asian Studies (Asociación Española de Estudios de Asia Oriental).

 Autor  Christian Olalla Soler

Post-doc researcher at the Department of Interpreting and Translation of the University of Bologna, where he is a member of the Laboratory for Multilectal Mediated Communication & Cognition (MC2 Lab). He completed a PhD in Translation and Intercultural Studies at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. His main research interests are translation and cognition, bibliometrics, translator and interpreter training, and intercultural studies. He is a member of the PACTE research group since 2012. Olalla-Soler has taught several courses on translation and interpreting theories, specialised translation, and terminology. He is a member of the TREC (Translation, Research, Empiricism, Cognition) network. He is also a member of the Iberian Association for Translation and Interpreting Studies, of the European Society for Translation Studies, of the Cognitive Science Society and of the European Association of Methodology.

Autor  Javier Franco Aixelá

Associate professor at the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the Universidad de Alicante (Spain). For twelve years (1983-1995), he was a professional translator and as such has published over 30 books with various publishers in Spain.

He was one of the founding members and served as editor-in-chief of the journal MonTI (Monographies in Translation and Interpreting), jointly published by the universities of Alicante, Jaume I and València.

His research topics include the bibliometrics of translation, theoretical issues in translation studies and the manipulation of culture in translation, with over 50 academic publications in these areas. He is the creator of BITRA (Bibliography of Interpreting and Translation), available online, and comprising over 80,000 records as of April 2020.
