Gisela Marcelo Wirnitzer
Translator and Lecturer Professor in English-Spanish and German-Spanish at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). She is a Translation and Interpreting Graduate, PhD in Translation by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and has taught subjects such as General Translation, Literary Translation or Audiovisual Translation. Her research topics include the translation of literature and films for children and young adults or the history of translation practice in the Canary Islands, among others. She has published or edited eight volumes and written more than 30 chapters.
