José Gustavo Góngora Goloubintseff
Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Translation Studies at the University of York, where he leads the MA in Translation and Applied Technologies. Góngora Goloubintseff is also an Associate Lecturer at The Open University, UK, and a sworn translator accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Having completed his UK Research Council-funded doctoral research at the University of Manchester and postgraduate studies at NTNU in Norway, Góngora Goloubintseff has published widely on volunteer translation practices, new translation technologies, and cultural and gender bias. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a member of the Spanish Professional Association of Court and Sworn Interpreters and Translators (APTIJ).
