Sandro Nielsen
Associate Professor of the Department of English and Centre for Lexicography at School of Communication and Culture, Faculty of Arts, Aarhus University, Denmark. He is also affiliated with the International Centre for Lexicography, University of Valladolid, Spain. Sandro Nielsen has an MA in English (LSP) from 1987 and was awarded his PhD degree in specialised lexicography in 1992. He has published extensively on theoretical and practical lexicography and is the author and co-author of several printed and online dictionaries on law and financial reporting. His main research areas are principles for specialised online dictionaries, user guides in dictionaries, lexicographic information costs and academic dictionary reviewing. Teaching interests include corporate reporting, lexicography, and financial and legal translation.
