Author  Oludamilola I.  Oyetoyan

PhD in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies from the University of Leipzig (2015). Her teaching experience covers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses within German studies, text linguistics and foreign language teacher education in Nigeria and at the University of Bergen. Her research interests include professional translation teaching and practice, intercultural communication, as well as foreign language didactics. She currently works as a freelance translator alongside her teaching engagements in adult and secondary education at the Vestland County Municipality and Bergen Municipality.

Author  Segun Afolabi

PhD in Translation Studies from Laval University (2018), Quebec, after teaching translation courses to undergraduate students for over a decade in Nigeria. His research interests include translator/interpreter training, translation market needs analysis, translation policies, political translation, sociology of translation, history of translation and CAT tools. He is a certified translator and member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) as well as of the Corporation of Translators and Interpreters of New Brunswick (CTINB). He currently practises as a freelance translator/interpreter, while also occupying the position of Liaison Officer (International student recruitment) at Université de Moncton, campus d’Edmundston.
