 Autor  José Tomás Conde Ruano 

PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada, his thesis deals with translation quality and evaluation and was the runner-up in the 2009-2011 prize for the Best Dissertation of the Biennium, granted by the Iberian Association of Translation and Interpreting Studies. Conde has worked within the framework of several research groups, such as PETRA, GENTT, TRALIMA, and PACTE, and is currently teaching Translation and Interpreting at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). He is principly interested in the study of the quality and evaluation of translations, cognitive translatology and the professional reality oriented towards translator training.
