Francisco Lafarga Maduell
Professor Emeritus of the Universitat of Barcelona. Between 1988 and 2018, Francisco Lafarga has been Principal Investigator of numerous research projects on translation history and literary reception. He is the author or the editor of forty works; he has collaborated with many chapters in more than 160 collective volumes and published more than sixty articles in academic journals on French Literature, Spanish Literature, Comparative Literature and Translation. He manages nowadays, along with L. Pegenaute, the Portal de Historia de la Traducción en España–PHTE and the Biblioteca de Traducciones Españolas in the Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes. Likewise, he is the translator of several classical French authors (Racine, Voltaire, Marivaux, Diderot and Beaumarchais).
