Silvia Martínez Martínez
Member of the TRACCE research group (Translation and Accessibility, HUM-770). She holds a PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada (Spain). She is currently Permanent Lecturer at the Department of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada. Her research interests are multimodality, audiovisual translation and accessible translation. She is an expert in subtitling for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, with special interest in the process of translation from the source text, sound, to the target text in words. As a member of the PAIDI HUM-770 research group, she has contributed to the development of several R&D projects such as TRACCE (SEJ2006-01829/PSIC), AMATRA (P07-SEJ-2660), PRA2 (FFI2010-16142), OPERA (FFI2015-65934-R) and AL-MUSACTRA (B-TIC-352-UGR18).
