Luis Pegenaute Rodríguez
Professor of translation at Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona). Specialist in literary translation, comparative literature, translation history, and translation theory. He has (co)edited seventeen volumes on his fields of specialization, such as Historia de la traducción en España (2004), Diccionario histórico de la traducción en España (2009), Diccionario histórico de la traducción en Hispanoamérica (2013). He has been director of research projects financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. He is co-director, with F. Lafarga, of the websites Biblioteca de traducciones españolas y Biblioteca de traducciones hispanoamericanas, hosted in the Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes. Historia de la traducción en España, and Portal de Historia de la Traducción en España. He is the director of the general editor of the Relaciones literarias en el ámbito hispánico at Peter Lang publishing house.
