Luis Pegenaute Rodríguez
Professor of Translation at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). He specialises in the study of literary translation, Comparative literature, and the history and theory of translation. He has (co) edited fifteen volumes dealing with these fields, such as Historia de la traducción en España (2004), Diccionario histórico de la traducción en España (2009), Diccionario histórico de la traducción en Hispanoamérica (2013). He has directed several research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. He is co-director with F. Lafarga of the specialised websites Biblioteca de traducciones españolas and Biblioteca de traducciones hispanoamericanas, hosted on the Biblioteca Virtual Miguel de Cervantes, together with Historia de la traducción en España y Portal de Historia de la Traducción en España. He directs the series Relaciones literarias en el ámbito hispánico (Peter Lang).
