Dora Sales Salvador
Senior Lecturer in Information Literacy for Translators and Interpreters at the Department of Translation and Communication, Universitat Jaume I (Castellón, Spain). She holds a Doctorate in Translation and Interpreting Studies. As a literary translator, she has worked for Espasa, Siruela, Random-House Mondadori and Altaïr, among other publishing houses. Her research deals with information science for translation and information literacy. She has published in journals such as Journal of Librarianship and Information Science, Library and Information Science Research, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Journal of Documentation, Journal of Information Science, Aslib. Journal of Information Management, portal, Scientometrics, The Interpreter and Translator Trainer and Journal of Information Literacy, among others, and publishing houses such as Peter Lang, Vervuert/Iberoamericana, Chandos/Elsevier, Trea, Arco, Comares or Alfagrama.
She is also an author of children’s literature (Lóguez and Kalandraka publishers). She has been the director of the Purificación Escribano University Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies, at the Universitat Jaume I, and she is currently its secretary.
