Ewa Gumul
Profesor uczelni w Instytucie Językoznawstwa Uniwersytetu Śląskiego, gdzie obecnie prowadzi seminaria magisterskie i doktoranckie z zakresu przekładoznawstwa, metodologii badań i teorii przekładu. Stopień doktora nauk humanistycznych w zakresie językoznawstwa uzyskała w 2004 r., a stopień doktora habilitowanego w tej samej dziedzinie w 2018 r. Jej zainteresowania badawcze obejmują eksplicytację w tłumaczeniu konferencyjnym oraz retrospekcję w badaniach translatorycznych. Jest również doświadczonym dydaktykiem przekładu oraz praktykującym tłumaczem przysięgłym.
